  • Product Description: Blopress Plus contains candesartan cilexetil and hydrochlorothiazide as the active ingredients, and is used to treat hypertension.
  • Details: Candesartan cilexetil belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin ll receptor antagonists. Angiotensin ll is a substance produced in the body which causes blood vessels to tighten, thus increasing the blood pressure. Candesartan cilexetil blocks the effect of angiotensin ll so that the blood vessels relax, thus lowering the blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, which help in reducing the sodium and chloride in the body by increasing the amount of urine.
