  • Product Description: Kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores and protozoa. Contains Povidone-Iodine 7.5pct w/v. With non selective microbicidal action.
  • Details: Betadine Scalp And Skin Cleanser contains an active ingredient, povidone iodine 7.5pct w/v for treatment and prevention of infections in wounds. It is used for seborrhoeic conditions of skin and scalp, acne vulgaris and other pyogenic skin conditions. This cleanser has a broad microbicidal spectrum and kills corynebacterium acnes, staphylococcus epidermitis and pityrosporon, three organisms often associated with scalp and skin problems.
  • Benefits: Helps prevent spread of infection from scalp and acne lesions. Non irritating to skin and mucosa. Helps prevent spread of seborrhoeic dermatitis. Stable dermophil pH. Non staining to skin and natural fabrics.
  • Instructions for use: For hair and scalp : thoroughly wet the hair. Apply as a shampoo to the hair and scalp, rubbing well in. Allow to remain on the scalp for atleast 5 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Reapply and work up into rich lather before rinsing again. For skin : apply directly or with moistened sponge. Cleanse area thoroughly. Repeat application.
