  • Product Description: Dioclav is an antibiotic and works by killing bacteria that cause infections.
  • Details: Dioclav contains two different medicines called amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin belongs to a group of medicines called penicillins that can sometimes be stopped from working (made inactive). The other active component (clavulanic acid) stops this from happening, as it controls the major resistance mechanism of numerous bacteria resistant to penicillins.
  • Benefits: Dioclav is used to treat: * Middle ear and sinus infections. * Respiratory tract infections. * Urinary tract infections. * Skin and soft tissue infections including dental infections. * Bone and joint infections.
  • Instructions for use: * Take the medication exactly as prescribed by a doctor. * Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water at the start of a meal or slightly before. Tablets can be broken along the score line to make them easier to swallow (but both pieces of the tablet have to be taken at the same time). * Space the doses evenly during the day, at least 4 hours apart. Do not take 2 doses in one hour.
