  • Product Description: Covas 8mg contains 8mg of candesartan cilexetil as the actiive ingredient. It belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin ll receptor antagonists and is used to treat hypertension.
  • Details: Angiotensin ll is a substance produced in the body which causes blood vessels to tighten, thus increasing the blood pressure. Cndesartan blocks the effect of angiotensin ll so that the blood vessels relax, thus lowering the blood pressure.
  • Benefits: Candesartan can be used to: * Essential hypertension. * Treat patients with heart failure and impaired left ventricular systolic function as add-on therapy to angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors when ACE inhibitors are not tolerated.
  • Instructions for use: * Take the medication exactly as prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist.
