  • Product Description: Sortiva H is a combination of an angiotensin ll receptor antagonist (losartan) and a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide),and is used to treat high blood pressure.
  • Details: Angiotensin ll is a substance produced in the body which causes blood vessels to tighten, thus increasing the blood pressure. Losartan blocks the effect of angiotensin ll so that the blood vessels relax, thus lowering the blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide works by making the kidneys pass more water and salt. This also helps to reduce blood pressure.
