  • Product Description: Co-Diovan 80/12.5mg Tablet is primarily used to reduce high blood pressure.
  • Details: Co-Diovan is a combination of two medicines: Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Valsartan is a blood pressure-lowering medicine that blocks the hormone angiotensin, thereby relaxing and widening the narrowed blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide reduces the amount of sodium chloride and water in the body by increasing urine output.
  • Benefits: It helps in treating mild and moderate high blood pressure in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on valsartan or hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy, and require a combination drug. Lowering blood pressure, in turn, helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
